The exhibition «Beautiful Houses. Russian architectural Salon – 2016»

The VII International Architectural, Construction and Interior Exhibition Beautiful Houses. Russian Architectural Salon was held in the «Crocus Expo» Fairgrounds, Moscow on 27-30 October, 2016. A significant part of its floor area was occupied by popular thematic sections «Wooden House. Autumn session» and «Interior Salon».

Numerous visitors were able to get professional advice from architects and designers, to evaluate the projects the experts created for the show, to communicate with representatives of the companies involved in house construction and decoration, production and sale of equipment, materials and furniture and to explore a wide range of products and services.

14,280 people visited the exhibition, which occupied 8,000 sq. m, where 258 companies from different regions of Russia presented their best architectural projects, products and technologies.

The general sponsor of the exhibition was — again — the «Russian West» Group of Companies, which since 2003 provides a full range of services in design, manufacturing and construction of glued beam houses and bath-houses. The exhibition got official support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Union of Architects of Russia, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Moscow Architects.

From a professional point of view, the show organization and operation was praised by Nikolay Shumakov, president of the Union of Moscow Architects, unites more than four thousand architects of Moscow and the Moscow region.

The exhibition centerpiece — «Russian Architectural Salon» — listed numerous famous architectural workshops and studios, such as «Architects Velichkin and Golovanov Architecture and Art workshop», Architectural group «A +A», architectural firm Luxury Style Architecture & Design and many others.

The exhibition frameworks included traditional open international architectural competition «Beautiful Houses 2016», with more than 60 works presented in the categories «ArchObject», «ArchProject» and «Student Projects». Also as part of the «Interior Salon» exhibition, a contest «Beautiful Apartments 2016» was held. The prize fund of 300 000 rubles and the best works to be published in the contest organizer’s magazines «Beautiful Houses press» Publishing House were the additional show’s highlights. The sponsor of the contest — the company VERONA mobili.
